2007 Interclub Rules

The rules for 2007 for the 4 Interclub events will be as follows.

Electric
540, mod and 19t as per ORRCA rules for everything except 19t motors which will be as per the existing Interclub 19t rules.

Nitro

Pro Tourers - as per AARCMCC

Gas Tourers - as per AARCMCC for dimensions etc but with the following rules for engines

The use of .12 (2.11cc) or .15 (2.50cc) 3 port side exhaust engines only will be permitted:

  • with a maximum rating of 1(HP) Horsepower
  • The driver must supply "manufacturer's original paperwork that comes with the motor" not downloadable versions of it to prove HP rating to the satisfaction of the Race Director in the event of a dispute.
  • They shall be air-cooled, with front rotary valve, two-stroke induction
  • Utilising ¼-32 glow plugs
  • No form of forced induction or supercharging allowed or any form of variable port timing
  • No internal modifications of any kind that deviate from factory original condition including the carburettor are permitted
  • Carburettor maximum size 5.5mm
    The following motors will also be allowed:
    * TOP CT12S2/N
    * TOP CT12R1/N
    * TOP CT12 R2/N
    * TOP CT12 S1/N
    * TOP CT12S1/NX
    * OS TG
  • Any .12 or .15 "pullstart" engine that comes with a RTR kit as long as it is run in the RTR that it comes out with
  • Larger heat sinks can be used as long as the combustion chamber is the same dimensions as the original
  • No boost bottles allowed
  • NOS octane boosters are not allowed
  • Any form of starting the engine is allowed
